San Diego Tour Guide
We just got back from our weekend getaway down to San Diego and Coronado. We had the best time and I really wish it didn't have to end so soon. There are so many delicious restaurants that we stuffed our faces at and lots of fun things to do down there that I wanted to share some. And of course the most ideal place to stay is at the Hotel Del Coronado, it is so charming and we just adore it. I already can't wait to go back.
| GOOD EATS |
El Indio [inexpensive mexican food that tastes really authentic and their chips are the best]
Blue Water [fresh sea food prepared anyway you want it]
Hodad's [big juicy burgers, potato wedge fries, onion rings, and hand-mixed malts and shakes from Thrifty's ice cream - doesn't get better than that]
Big Kitchen [a small, old diner feel with the owner, Judy serving the food daily. Go for breakfast and be sure to try the pancakes, they are the best I've ever had]
Poeho's [beautiful location right on the water in coronado. This is a four course meal so come hungry. Delicious lobster bisque, coconut shrimp and seafood platters with rich chocolate lava cake for dessert]
Hash House A Go-Go [known for their ridiculously huge portion sizes, this place is so good and has an hour wait constantly to prove it. But it's worth it! Everything I've tried is so fresh and amazing]
